I return to the charge with a lapse of time, which by the way was about time, but between some things and others I have not had much time and especially desire to prepare a new entry for the Blog.
2023 seems that at least for me it will be a year full of changes in what had been my routine life, and I am happy to say that it seems that these changes are far from being a bad thing, although it is true that as usual At first they are a bit scary, I don't want to get involved anymore, today I bring you a period of time that I was able to capture thanks to those changes that I mentioned, if it had been impossible for me.
As you have already seen in the title of the post, today I bring a time lapse that I captured the first week of February, during the transit of comet C/2022 E3 ZTF, except for one, the comet is visible in all the clips that make up the video, although if you see it on a small screen it will be difficult for you to distinguish them among so many stars, but don't worry, in the final stretch of the video there is a closer view of the comet in motion and a photograph of about 40 minutes that I could get with my little Star Adventurer.
Despite what was said in the media, the comet was not visible to the naked eye, at least from the place that I chose to obtain the photographs that would become in this period of time, one of the main reasons is that it was very dim, although it also influenced the fact that the moon was present in the sky, contributing a considerable amount of light, which illuminated the mountains of León that were completely covered in snow and acted like a mirror reflecting the light of the moon, which in turn It was in a growing phase, increasing night after night the light that illuminated the photographs, as can be seen throughout the video.
I hope you enjoy the video, I recommend watching it on a big screen if you have the possibility, but if you're going to watch the video on a smartphone I recommend turning up the brightness of the screen to see it better.
After having cloudy skies during the night of Friday, January 27, and excessive winds on the second night, I was able to enjoy wonderful winter weather for the rest of the nights that I traveled to Fontanos de Torío until February 3, when I gave By the end of this project, yes all of them with temperatures below zero, as a consequence every night I collected my cameras with a certain amount of frost on top of them.
The thousands of images needed to make this video were captured with my Nikon D3300, D7500 and D610 cameras, together with Tokina AT-X 11-20mm f/2.8 Pro DX, Nikkor AF 28-80mm 3.3-5.6 G and Nikon lenses. AF-P 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX
I also captured a panoramic image of all the montes de león, which you can see below.
So far the entry, I hope you like it and see you in the next one.
